Parcels are a funk-pop group from Byron Bay Australia conceived in mid 2014. Shortly after the final stretch of high school, all five members left the sunny shores of their coastal hometown for Europe's hub of musical inspiration, Berlin. That's where they sharpen their sound, a unique blend of contemporary electronica and matured funk disco, where wide synth soundscapes and an electronic rhythm section meet spirited guitars and five-part vocal harmony. On stage, their live set is consistently energetic, and that's where the young musicians best deliver their infectious confidence and contagious beat. Parcels makes crowds "dance the way nobody has danced since flares were invented" (Noisey).Their debut EP 'Hideout' released in January 2017, is crowned as the soundtrack of the year by tastemakers such as The Guardian, Clash, Noisey or Wonderland.« Already the musicians have made a statement with their harmonious feel-good funk-pop » (The 405) and caught the eyes of the planet's most gifted robots: Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel Homem Christo of Daft Punk, who produced their single 'Overnight' released on June 2017, a summery anthem that probably soundtracked your holidays this year. What is clear in the end is that Parcels bring a unique brand of pop music and deliver it with infectious and emotive dance songs.
